in Australia) NZBN: 9429041573723/GST Number: 115-882-066 (“us”, “we”, “our” or
the “Company”), collect in the course of providing you with our goods and
services.
The
nature of the services we offer requires that we collect your personal
information from time to time. In collecting your personal information, we will
comply with the privacy laws of New Zealand, including, the Privacy Act 2020 as
amended from time to time (“Privacy Act”) and the information privacy
principles. This privacy statement further details how we collect, use and
store your personal information.

to “you” means any person, firm, company or body which interacts with us.
Scope of this privacy statement
This
privacy statement relates to personal information as that term is defined in
the Privacy Act. Personal information generally includes any information about
an identifiable living individual or from which a living individual could
reasonably be identified, but with exception for information which is a
publicly available.
Generally,
the type of personal information we seek to collect will include your name,
email, address, location and contact information.
Collecting your personal information
We
will only seek to collect personal information that is necessary for us to
efficiently or effectively carry out the services we offer, or to comply with
our statutory obligations. This will generally include use of your personal

When do we collect and process personal information about
you?

account or during the course of a transaction), our services or through direct
contact with us. By using or accessing our website and/or any of our services,
or by providing any personal information (directly, through our website or
otherwise), you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by this Privacy
Policy.
We may need to collect some personal
information from other third parties, especially where you are making an
application for credit facility to be extended by us. Such third parties may include related
companies, distributors, payment providers, or credit reporters that the
Company may use from time to time, (including Equifax), and the information
will be used to assess your creditworthiness.
If you do not provide the information to us or the designated third
parties, we may not be able to offer a credit facility.
Where we collect personal information
about you from third parties (other than publicly available sources or credit
reporters), we will take reasonable steps to notify you of that collection and
the matters required by the Privacy Act, unless an exception applies.
We may also capture and “cookies” when
you use our website. A “cookie” is a small piece of data that a website sends
to your browser that may be stored on your system. These “cookies” may collect
anonymous information from your computer, and our website may use and combine
such passively collected information and allow us to remember important
information that will make future visits to the site more useful and promote
our goods or services to you by way of targeted advertising. You may use the various options on your
browser to warn you each time a “cookie” is being sent. You can also turn “cookies” off at any
time. However, in doing so you will
restrict the access you might have to many features available on our website.
From time to time, we may offer the
opportunity to engage with us through third-party social networking websites,
plug-ins and applications. Your interaction with us through these platforms may
allow us to access information associated with your social media account. We may
use this information to confirm your identity and personalise your experience.
Other than for a credit application as
described above, you are not obliged to provide us with your personal
information and to consent to disclosure, however without it, we could be
restricted both in what services we can offer to you and the quality of the
services we can offer.
Using your personal

will only use your personal information as necessary for us to provide you with
the goods/services you require, or to carry out any related services (such as
providing a credit facility).

require the information for such purposes. Such persons will generally include
our staff, agencies engaged to carry out work on our behalf or third-party

will take all reasonable steps to ensure that such agencies and third-party

otherwise only disclose your personal information with your consent or if

Storing
your personal information

as it may be required by us, or as otherwise required by law.

personal information on our behalf. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure
that such agencies are contractually bound to comply with the Privacy Act and
are based either in New Zealand or in jurisdictions with comparable privacy
laws, such as Australia.

are committed to compliance with the Privacy Act (even where agencies are
engaged) and are accountable for protecting the information we receive from
you.

we have adopted the following security measures:

third-party cloud-based software provider in secure servers.

we have appropriate safeguards in place and we do everything reasonably within

information, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, we cannot ensure or
warrant the security of any personal information you provide to us. You do so
at your own risk and we will not be liable for any unauthorised use or
disclosure of your personal information in that respect. We will however assess
any privacy breaches promptly, and inform you of a notifiable privacy breach as
soon as practicable should that ever occur.

concerns about anything covered in this privacy statement. We will endeavour to deal with any complaints
or concerns as quickly as possible, but in any event, in accordance with the
timeframes and procedures set out in the Privacy Act.
